Frequently Asked Questions

Have any questions about our running shoes? You’re in the right place.

What makes Splay 101 different from typical classics?

Unlike tapered, heeled casual shoes, 101 is built on a foot-shaped last with a roomy toe box and a zero-drop sole to encourage natural movement and all-day comfort. That’s the “barefoot” part behind the retro look.

Which colorways are in the Splay 101 line right now?

Current 101 styles include options like Whiteboard, Graphite, and Pink Pearl (availability may vary). You’ll often find multiple colorways in the collection grid; check the product tiles for what’s in stock today.

What’s underfoot—are they flexible and durable?

Yes. 101 uses a thin, flexible sole for ground feel and everyday comfort. The 101 is flat, flexible, and ergonomic. Models are built for daily wear, with vulcanized construction for long-lasting durability.

How does Splay 101 fit compared with other Splay models?

They share the same foot-shaped, zero-drop philosophy, but 101 is positioned for casual wear (retro court look), whereas models like REV are tuned for skate, and RUNNER V1 is framed for running. Pick based on activity and style preferences.

Are Splay 101 good warm-weather shoes, and how should I style them?

The 101 is versatile and can be worn any time of year. They’re designed as easy, everyday casual sneakers with a low-profile build that pairs well with shorts and jeans. Check the collection page for available materials and colorways to match your wardrobe.
