I've been wearing this shoe heavily for only 2 weeks, but I can say a few things about this shoe.
Number 1, this shoe is arguably the best looking barefoot sneaker out there and if the comfort was little better they deserved a five star rating.
Comfort wise, in the beginning they aren't so flexible as I'm used to with barefoot shoes, but the more you walk the shoes get more flexible. Only downside in this shoes is the arch support, this is probably the biggest reason I have to not buy them. I almost wanted to sent them back because of the arch support. Price and quality is amazing

I had two pairs of freestyles before I got the 101s but they are now my go-to, everyday shoes. The sides are much more structured and stiff than the freestyle, but that also means you can slip your foot in and out effortlessly. I still use the freestyles for running and working out because, like I said, these are rather stiff. But for an everyday shoe the 101 is amazing.

Splay seems to be the only brand that makes good quality, good looking barefoot shoes that are priced like regular shoes. They were my first pare of barefoot shoes (I since own a pair of vivos too) and they really have been great. Yes there was an adjustment period. My feet were sore for two weeks after getting them but I did just go from vans to these as my daily wear without preparation. Sure the toe box looked a bit goofy coming from vans but I’m over it. Never going back to regular shoes again. Going for the Splay V1 runners next to complete replacing all my shoe types.

I originally ordered a size 8, but it was definitely too small, which surprised me since these have a wide toe box. My big toe was touching the top of the shoe. I exchanged it for the next size up, but unfortunately, those are now way too big. I'm disappointed because they're cute. I think it would be better if they were offered in half sizes.
