Women: If you are in-between sizes, we recommend that you order the larger size. If anything, Splay shoes run a little small for women.

Men: If you are in-between sizes, we recommend that you order the smaller size. If anything, Splay shoes run a little large for men.

    Bought these for the skatepark after multiple recommendations

    First of all, fantastically swift delivery from the USA. I got these delivered to the UK while on holiday. They are very comfortable, although my big toe does clip the front a bit (I am mondo 29.5). However, I think a full size up would have been too much. I can live with it, there is hardly any pressure, and my other toes are simply enjoying the extra real-estate. The flat gummy sole makes this perfect for skateboarding, and I especially like the heel-hold these have with the high-top design. Typically for barefoot shoes, especially for the bigger sizes, it is difficult to get a shoe with a decent heel hold, These have no slop at all, and have become my go-to activity shoe. In the black colour, I even get away with it for work (skate sessions after work, yay!). The only issue is the time it takes to get into these and lace up. I think it could benefit from a 2-zone lacing system, but I don't want to jinx it at this great price!

    Very comfy and look cool

    Love the shoes. Great price and comfort. They also are the best looking wide toe box zero drop shoes imo. Fit my "style" much more then any other shoe of this kind that I have tried. Will probably get another pair in a different color. My only little nit pic would be they are quite a challenge to get on and off with standard laces. EZ fix though. I switched to a "boa" lace system, which allows me to more easily and quickly pull the tongue out far enough making it a breeze to slide my feet in and out (pics attached). Boa also obviously makes it easier and quicker to get a nice firm more uniform fit. You don't end up with a tight top and loose bottom and then have to redo the laces. I use the shoes for everything including mountain biking, and motorcycle riding. Would love to see new versions come with integrated boa like systems. Would also love to see Splay come out with a purpose built shoe for Mountain Biking that have a slightly thicker sole for more durability and stickier rubber compound. I am not aware of any true wide toe box mountain bike shoe on the market. I've paid over $200 on a pair mtb shoes and none have been all that comfortable or good for your feet. I prefer to wear the Splays.

    I use 9.5, ordered 10. No issue on sizing.

    Great for walking, I walk heavy on the heel, I wanted a little bit of cushion. Barefoot options were xero shoes and origo. Xero have cushion, but the toe box isn’t as big as the REV. Origo’s fit are great, but I need to be more careful on my heel.

    These soles are flat, thicker and flexible.

    And toe box is great.

    Thats’s why I give 5 stars, based on comfort and size.
