Great for walking, I walk heavy on the heel, I wanted a little bit of cushion. Barefoot options were xero shoes and origo. Xero have cushion, but the toe box isn’t as big as the REV. Origo’s fit are great, but I need to be more careful on my heel.
These soles are flat, thicker and flexible.
And toe box is great.
Thats’s why I give 5 stars, based on comfort and size.

I usually wear a women’s size 8 or 8.5 and the 8 was right on my toes. Sized up to a 9 and it’s a perfect fit. The material feels sturdy though I do wish it came with a thicker or more structured tongue, and a heel pull tab. Great sneakers and had enough room to comfortably wear with toe spacers.

These shoes have a wide toe box and relatively flexible sole. When I walked, I could feel the bend in the top of the shoe pressing against my big toe joint. They seemed surprisingly heavy for a barefoot shoe (although that might be necessary to achieve the skate shoe aesthetic). These might work well for actual skateboarding, but for what I wanted (casual wear and the occasional dance party) they were not the right fit.
