Took up surfskating last year, and loved skating barefoot. Started skating parks and bowls so I needed some protection for the feet, and these have been perfect. I now prefer wearing these over actually being barefoot. The grip and feel of the board is as good or better than barefoot. I tried a pair from a different company before these and they didn't offer as much protection, nor did the sole grip the deck as well. The first pair are better for walking, but these are perfect for skating.
They don't need to be laced up really tight to skate, and they are super comfortable as long as they aren't tight. The only con I see are the laces are longer than I want. Easy fix, but I wish I didn't have to order new laces for every pair of shoes or boots I buy. Still, I love these shoes A LOT!

These LT Revs are so. Dang. Cute. I'm obsessed with the way they look. They are very attractive and exactly what I wish vans would look like. The blue is so vibrant and pretty. There are just a few things I wish they had. For one, some air holes in the sides would be perfect. I noticed while wearing these to work all day my feet got really hot and kinda sweaty. And if splay carried more options for insoles! I thankfully have an anti fatigue mat at work as a hairstylist, but my boyfriend stands on concrete all day and needs a little extra cushion, and theyre slightly too high volume for his feet so a thicker insole option might be awesome. For me, the volume is perfection. I hope to have more colors added to the collection!!

I really like the shoes but unfortunately, even with the sizing sheet, the shoe did not fit. And it is too expensive for me to send back for an alternative size from the UK which means I am unlikely to buy from here again. If you ever sell your shoes direct in the UK I will definitely be purchasing!

I've always found it difficult to find skate shoes that even vaguely fit my wide feet until now. A fellow skater with a similar problem recommended Splay! and I placed my order feeling slightly nervous. I've never ordered footware online before. However.... I will be doing so again from Splay! The shoes are comfy, my toes actually have some space and aren't squished in.
Today, only my second time in these shoes, I had a two hour bowl skating session and I've only just realised that I had none of the discomfort after that time that I've had with normal skate shoes. I love these shoes!!!!
