    Fantastic!!!

So happy with my shoes. 😍

The only thing is the taxes for buying things from the US :( it was the same price as one pair of shoes.

    Amazing shoes!

I was looking for some ‘barefoot’-style skate shoes and I couldn’t be happier to have discovered Splay! They’re super comfortable and look amazing. I highly recommend them. What’s more, the team at Splay are very helpful and provide excellent service.

Favorite casual shoe at the moment

Simple, stylish, sturdy, comfortable - what not to like?

I really like the insoles of these new revs, feels like it will last longer than regular REV insoles

Planning to get a pair of HTS

    Very happy

These are excellent shoes, and finally, a pair of barefoot skate shoes. I’m really happy with them. They’re well made, feel solid, and the quality is great. They also ship to Europe, which is a big plus.

Good for everything but landing primo, or on your heel. would recommend if you are

feels great when you're skating well, on the balls of feet and stuff, got your feet WIDE OPEN. pop feels quick and light, it surprisingly just feels like a normal vulc shoe flick. balance is great, I'm doing these manuals so solid on the balls of my feet. Also its easier to really control where your front foot is gonna land in an ollie. You can tic tac so much lazier, cuz the shoe is wide, letting you put your feet closer together while still having a little bit on the tail or nose.

But you will feel the primos hard, sometimes the next day also. and bailing a trick and landing on your heel on the ground sucks, like it would barefoot.

Also I went through a period where my feet would go kind of numb for the first like 30 minutes of a session in the rough street, because of the crusty road vibration. that went away though.

Some would argue that if you get rid of the negatives of a barefoot shoe you also get rid of the advantages. It's probably true, at least within this pricepoint. I will consider getting better insoles or finding a foot-type shoe with less of the advantages, like one with a thicker outsole, if I do get a serious injury from a primo. But as of now I think they're worth it, just gotta get good, and not skate out of your skill zone or overly high impact (which I don't really do anyway).

Would recommend if you can do the basic tricks (these would suck to learn kickflips in because of the primo, maybe if you're like 80 pounds or below it's fine tho)

    Would…
