I will never buy another brand of shoe. These are amazing on the board, but they're so comfortable I've stopped wearing anything else. Every other skate shoe I've worn leaves my pinky toe numb after an hour or two , but not these. And unlike every other 'natural shape' shoe I've seen, these actually look good.

I have so much more power delivery on tricks with these shoes. More board control, more balanced amd planted feeling on big transition. You do want to get some FP insoles or something if you deal with heal bruise. They are very thin, and the insole they sell doesnt do much. But the insoles will last multiple pairs. The combo is amazing!

I love these shoes! I first saw Splay when researching barefoot shoes online. Then I saw them at the barefoot shoe expo in Chicago. They were one of the only vendors with enough stock to buy something that day so props for that! These shoes are a great intermediate level barefoot shoe. I was wearing Altra shoes for about 6 months before I bought these. It was the perfect next step. Plus I’ve been a lifetime wearer of Vans and Converse so these were the perfect style for me! I was very excited to find some cool looking barefoot shoes. I highly recommend these to anyone. The suede also is more durable than most suede shoes I have owned. I’m usually hesitant because of the lack of water resistance of typical suede shoes, but these haven’t shown any significant wear and tear after months of regular wear.

I am loving these barefoot skateboarding shoes. I had foot surgery about a year ago and found it difficult to find shoes that don't cause me more foot pain. My wife recommended that I look into barefoot shoes. I started looking for barefoot skateboarding shoes. I came across Splay and ordered a pair. They were perfect from the moment I put them on. No painful break in period. I put them on and started skating. I like the way I feel more connected to the board. I will definitely be buying more Splay skateboarding shoes in future.
