    Awesome style and wide toe box

    I had been looking for a canvas style high top, but most brands were just too narrow in the toe box. I used their foot scanner and it told me I was an 11, so I ordered that. Unfortunately they were a little shorter than I would have liked, so I exchanged for a 12. The exchange process was simple and quick. Definitely will be buying more from Splay

    Look great, but are too small

    I wear 48 Vans without issues. I ordered Splay 48, bu I cannot wear them. I would need one size larger for sure. It’s a shame as they look wery nice and solid :(

    Better than Vans!

    Fits about a half size small and needs real insoles for any type of performance. Outside of that, really good feeling shoe with new insoles. The wide toe box and zero drop make this a really good high top.

    Cute but design needs tweaking; *very* hard to get on

    I was looking for a pair of high-top, wide toe box shoes that weren’t barefoot-style, and these seemed perfect. (I already own the Splay 101 and love them.) However, I was hesitant to buy them because several reviews mentioned how difficult they were to put on. I assumed that was just from people unfamiliar with high tops, but since I’ve worn them frequently in the past, I figured it wouldn’t be an issue.

    Unfortunately, even after loosening the laces considerably, I could barely get my foot in. A simple pull tab on the back would make a big difference. Because they’re such a hassle to put on, I don’t wear them as often as I’d like.

    In terms of fit, they feel larger than the Splay 101, and my feet slide around in them a bit. I have low-volume feet, and these seem better suited for high-volume feet. I’ll likely add flat insoles for a more secure fit.

    Overall, they’re very cute, but the fit and design could use some tweaking. Good price.
