I got these so I'd have a nice, comfortable barefoot street shoe for wearing around campus (I just started grad school). I've been using them for a few weeks and I'm very impressed!! They're really comfy and my toes have plenty of room to spread out. The only thing is I wish there was a size in between womens 6 and 7. I got the 7 (I usually wear a W6-7, depending on the shoe brand), and they're too loose without socks on. If I wear socks, even thin socks, they're fine, though, so I don't think it's a huge deal.

I was so excited to rock this slip on but was disappointed with the sizing. Initially ordered my usual size based from splay original slip on, when it arrived it was humongous. Exchange for a full size smaller as they don’t have half sizes, and it was borderline tight.

I knew I took a chance with this shoe as my feet are 27.2 cm long with both a high arch and a very high instep, so falling in between a size 11 and 12 W. The toe box width is what made me go with the 11's as it's narrower than the 12 (my feet aren't wide in the toes). As could have been expected they are about 0.5 cm too short and pinch my great toe. I'm stretching them in the hopes of creating just a little more space as the 12 will definitely be too large. Very good-looking shoes, though.

I am so glad I decided to give Splay shoes a chance once I found them. Having a wide, foot shaped toe box is a game changer in shoe comfort. I have a wide foot and high arch and this shoe fits great! I get a little sore on the top of my foot near the ankle as the shoe tongue extends so high up the foot but it’s minimal and I’m sure will ease over time. I like that these slip ons come in black with black soles. Black soled shoes are my favorite to get. I wish more colors came that way. Thank you Splay!!

The shoe overall is well made and comfortable, I like the style. I just really wish they would make half sizes. I first ordered an 8, which is my usual size, but those were way too big. So I returned for a size 7, which I kept, but they are too small. I can only wear them on days I'm hanging around the office all day, not doing a lot of walking because my toes are right at the edge. I hope Splay considers making half sizes in the future because I would love to buy more, but I can't if they won't fit properly.
