However, due to Splay's unisex sizing and barefoot shoe shape, there are some slight differences for men and for women:

  • Women: If you are in-between sizes, we recommend that you order the larger size. If anything, Splay shoes run a little small for women.
  • Men: If you are in-between sizes, we recommend that you order the smaller size. If anything, Splay shoes run a little large for men.

    Perfect skate shoe for me

    These shoes are exactly what I'm been looking for in a skate shoe. My feet can finally relax and spread out like they should, giving me much better feel and control of my board. I've gotten compliments and inquiries from everyone from skaters to non skaters. I even had an employee in a running shoe specialty store asking about the brand and where they could buy them. They look great for casual wear with any pants or shorts, but best of all I can walk and skate all in these and feel great.

    For size reference, I used the app they provided, which came out the same as what I wear in Adidas.

    Cool shoes, but sizing is a little off

    Really like these but ended up returning because the size wasn’t working for me. I am a 41/womens 10, but that was just a little too tight so I exchanged for a 42/11 which was too big. Needed an in between size. I really like how they look and the amount of room for the toes. I have splays in a different style in size 10 that fit great. Just varies from style. One thing about the design that I didn’t like is how pointy the corner of the big toe area looks, but it’s not that bad they still look cute.

    Ripping shoe for wide foot skateboarders! Finally!

    Been squeezing my feet into Vans and other skate brands for 30 years. They worked great for skating, but have always been too narrow. Just got REV Lowtops and went to the park. Totally amazing performance and comfortable all day. Took a bit getting used to for ollies and flip tricks but is worth the learning curve. Great shoe!

    Good Fit and Comfortable

    The shoes fit true to size with their guidelines and have good quality and comfortable materials. However, the sole expects an arch and is not the most comfortable for flat feet.
