I bought the black ones first, and I really enjoyed them. Not super barefoot, but it does allow more toe splay than conventional shoes. I enjoy the extra cushioning for high impact workouts, but if you're a barefoot enthusiast, these are best considered transition shoes.
I also just bought the grey ones, and it looks better than the online photos!
A great looking model from Splay, I deduct half a star because it is a smaller toebox than most "barefoot"shoes. Otherwise a great looking shoe.

I bought these a few months ago as one of my more meaningful barefoot shoe purchases. I'm a 17 year old guy, and I thought this shoe looked great for me so I got it with the intent of wearing it basically in any casual setting and, of course, running. Out of the box I was super impressed with how comfortable and nice looking they were. My only gripe with them was that in the beginning I had to mess around with how the shoe was laced until it felt comfortable to tie them tight. Now I tie the laces underneath the tongue for a seamless look. With time they have molded to my feet for a super comfortable fit, and even after wearing them down quite a bit I think they look great. Definitely worth way more than what Splay has priced them at. If you're still on the fence about grabbing these, watch a review video on YouTube by "Sons of Sever". They have great things to say about this shoe.

These sneaker Look very nice and are a little bit cushioned. I use them as everyday sneakers and like to rotate them with my other splay sneakers.
But as soon as there is a little rain, the sneaker changes. I have them for 2 month now and they are ruined. Which is sad because I was thinking of getting another color. After one evening in light rain, the nylon forms some kind of bubbles and it looks not nice anymore. They don’t go away unfortunately. I would not recommend.
