I wish this style was around when I bought my first pair of barefoot shoes a couple of years ago. I was a die hard Vans wearer for years until I started having foot pain. I have tried several different barefoot shoe brands and spent hundreds of dollars trying to find the perfect pair.
A major selling point for me was that these have a more traditional feeling sole. And at this price, you can’t beat it.
When I first tried them on, they seemed a little big. My heel was slipping out and I was worried I’d have to send them back. Instead, I put on some thicker socks and wore them around the house until they felt comfortable. When I finally wore them outside, I discovered my socks were too low and I could feel the shoes rubbing against the backs of my ankles. Now I just wear ankle socks instead of no shows.
So far these are only pair of barefoot shoes I’ve ever received a compliment on, lol.

I love the look of the new slip ons! That being said, my foot is a bit too skinny and low volume for the new style. I still wear them, I just have to wear thick sock with them. Overall I’m still a happy customer!

They are very comfortable for me to use at work + finger socks. My feet dont heart after 12 hours work(i am a hairdresser). I like the material which is breathing, even in summer my feet feel comfortable in these shoes. This model is a little bit wider than 101, so mean that. I also use here an extra insole and still have some free place for toes.

Instant HELL YES when I put them on. They were everything I wanted them to be!
After wearing them pretty consistently, I am noticing quick wear marks in the black pair around the toes vs the gunmetal grey pair. I wish the opening was more relaxed and a cork insert would make this the ultimate shoe for me. I get why people buy multiple of the same items. They are just that good! You want a pair for every occasion.

I’m very happy with my Splay’s! I do with they came in half sizes. They are super comfy and go with everything. I will be getting more. Hopefully in a half size 😉
