STREETSTYLE Slip-On Cloud

The first thing I noticed about the slip-on shoes was the weight. My Freestyle 2.0 shoes weigh about 1 pound and 0.9 ounces, while the slip-ons weigh about 1 pound and 6.4 ounces. I have low arches, low-volume “skinny” feet, and my Splay Freestyle’s fit me great, better than my Xero Prio’s. The slip-ons required me to insert an additional insole (like odor-eaters) to keep them from rattling around on my foot; the heels slip a bit when walking. They’re serving the purpose of quick-to-put-on house shoes for me, though I find them a bit too loose fitting for serious walking around outside, and certainly not for dancing around. I might try inserting a third insole, or wearing with thicker socks, to get a better fit. I do feel that they are well-constructed.

I’ll start by saying I’ve been wearing vans for over 20 years. I was pretty excited to find a brand that has similar style for a really great price. But I have to echo what other commenters are saying and that they need to consider half sizing. My normal size (W9) I had to remove the insoles immediately just to get my foot in and found my toes touching the end of the shoes with every step. So I exchanged for the next size up and they were massive. Gaps all around my heels and so much extra room at the toes my feet slid around. I tried wearing to work every day for a week with thick socks, but the final straw was when my heels were rubbed raw - they were just too big. Style is great and construction is quite nice, but the sizing is just off. Would absolutely give these a shot again if they add more sizing options.
