Having grown up in southern California and wearing Vans shoes a lot since the late 1970's.
I really like the wider toe box of my Splay shoes and the white stitching makes them super cool.
I wear an 8.5 womens and the 8 fits well.

I utilized the 30 day limited trial package, first time I’ve seen such a thing with shoes because the trial was at a reasonable cost. I got to actually wear the shoe out instead of just looking at it, got to walk around my city and at work.
Well I ended up ordering three more pair of Splay shoes mostly because suddenly my toes had room and could spread out! I think I have permanent nerve damage in some of my toes from all the other previous shoes I wore over the decades where my toes were squeezed together. Splay shoes let my toes spread out naturally. Also they don’t look wonky they actually look kinda cool. Call me vain but looks matter I don’t want to be walking around looking like I’m wearing clown shoes.

The shoes are very comfortable and they fit true to size for me. i’m usually a size 9 and that’s the size i got and they fit perfectly! i have been wearing them all day for the last week and they are great.
