My nieces previously wore the Xero Prio Youth, but after wearing the Splay Dash, that became the only shoe they wanted. It is more foot-shaped, more flexible, more durable, and less slippery. The Explore has all the same benefits as the Dash and they continue to prefer all Splay models over Xero. I am convinced that both Splay models are the superior shoes for children.

My nieces' favorite shoes is the Dash. It was out of stock in their sizes, so I bought them the Explore Wild and Explore. They prefer the Dash, but are very happy with the Explore until the Dash is back in stock. After a lacrosse game, they cannot wait to get their fit out of non-foot-shaped cleats and get their Splays on. I am so happy they have healthy and comfortable footwear to wear that didn't exist when I was their age.

My 2 year old refused shoes for so long. I tried a ton of wide foot box shoes and these ones that changed everything! He loves these and asks to wear them. We’re buying the next size since he’s grown out of his!! Try them if you have picky toddlers!!

Great wardrobe staple, fit kiddo well. Starting to get worn out but not a huge deal as they are outgrown anyway (would like to be able to pass down to younger sibling which will really put them to the test).

These shoes have been great for my kids so far, easy to put on, easy to keep clean colors, and are barefoot, which is important to me. Higher volume options and longer shoe straps would be ideal.
