My 6yo loves these shoes but she’s worn a hole through the inner insole after 6 months. A full on hole. Right under her big toe. I followed the fit guidelines, but it seems like she may have been gripping the shoe with her toes perhaps to keep them on her feet? The Velcro didn’t last long but she’d wear them happily without them snug on her foot. I really like the width - we’re not die hard barefoot shoe folks but I could see the difference in her foot as she had more room to spread her toes. At the price point for how they wore, I can’t justify another pair. Wish they lasted longer!

These might be our son's favorite shoes and he really likes how comfortable they are. They've become the only pair he wears to go out! (They look really nice, too.) We look forward to continuing to purchase Splays for him and the rest of our family.
I also appreciate Splay offering free returns/exchanges and customer service being so quick to respond and assist: The size we purchased at first was too small but we received the right size about a week after we mailed off the first pair.
