The fit according to the chart was spot on and this fits my toddler's feet perfectly with ~1cm room to grow. I will continue to size up for as long as she can fit them. Do note the toe box is wide but these shoes are pretty shallow height-wise, so may not work for high-volume feet. My kiddo has a narrow heel and low volume feet, so they work for her shape well.
We never tried the Explore model, but these are super durable and I doubt will show the wear of a shoe with a canvas upper. Splay team, my toddler and many others would LOVE this in red with a white stripe PLEASE!

My son doesn't have particularly high volume feet but the Velcro strap barely reaches across and comes undone often. These shoes are really good looking so it's frustrating they aren't made with a longer strap since that seems to be a common issue in the reviews.

All the barefoot shoes for kids these days only have Velcro. That’s a shame in my book. Big up to Splay for making one with laces.
On top of that they’re great shoes. They’re well made and didn’t cost me a second mortgage.
Oh, and the kid loves them too!

My son has thin feet and it’s been a struggle to find barefoot shoes for him. These fit perfectly, still being roomy in the toe box. I’ve already ordered a second pair!
Only negative part is having them sent to Spain, delivery and taxes are quite expensive, so looking forward to you guys opening shop in Europe :)
