My 18mo old daughter absolutely loves these shoes! They are very flexy/bendy and perfect for new walkers! These are very well built, able to withstand toe dragging as she zooms around the neighborhood on her ride-on car!

My son loves his new splays. Same great foot shape for growing feet as a normal splay shoe. The elastic laces keep the shoe on even if the Velcro isn't attached which is awesome for shoe independence. The only think I noticed is that the Velcro strap doesn't seem to be quite long enough, so when my 6 year old is doing the shoes himself, it's quite often not closed.

Got a black pair for my son, and the pink pair for my daughter. Both of them are now wearing these everyday. Easy to put on, flexible and wide in the toes.

These shoes are much more breathable, more comfortable, wider, prettier, softer, just better all around than the previous canvas versions! You still get the flexibility and durability of the Splay sole combined with the comfort of mesh sneakers. My kid put them on and refuses to take them off!
Only critique is that the hook-and-loop area for the top strap is a tad small. It’s good for little fingers to learn precision, but pops off sometimes when running around.
