    Most Comfortable Shoe I Own

    Wider in the midfoot and at pinky toe than Lems widest last. Just what I was looking for in a healthy foot-shaped shoe. I have referred several people to the Freestyle.

    Love the shoes, but they didn’t work for me.

    I love the shoes, however I have a disability and the shoes just don’t work for me even with an exchange in sizes. No problem returning for an exchange, but I’m having an issue with returning my second pair. Splay is not responding to my emails to obtain a return shipping label. I’d like to get this resolved ASAP.

    If the return shipping turns out on a positive note, I will come back to the site and give a better review.

    Best Barefoot shoe. Great for Cold climates

    These freestyles are a great shoe that fit true to size and have a nice natural toe box without looking weird. I get complements on them quite a bit. The only modification I've done is to melt in some beeswax to help them repel water and snow. I live in Alaska and part of why I like these shoes is that they are 100% cotton and so take wax really well. This does make them less breathable but that's not a problem for me living in a cold climate. If I where living somewhere warmer, I'd buy two and leave one unwaxed for hot weather and wax the other for cold/wet days.

    The rubber soles do great on the ice and I really don't have issues with slipping in them.

    Splays are the best!

    Amazing comfort.

    Loved my original freestyles, wore them to death. Been loving my freestyle 3’s even more! Elastic laces were a great addition and the half sizes added are much appreciated. Would love a hiking shoe as flexible as these from splay!

    What a beautiful shoe.

    The only problem is that it is Winter now and I don't want to ruin them! This Almond color looks very nice.
