I’ve been wearing barefoot shoes for almost 3 years now. I skated in Etnies barge LS shoes for 5 years before switching to splay. I am a size 9.5 usually. The site said to size down so I did as instructed and ordered a size 9. I got the shoes and they didn’t fit, at all. It wasn’t even close, so I sent them back to get a size 10. Splay was quick to process my return and I was impressed by how smoothly it went.

I like these shoes, I’d prefer a stiffer heel, but ya can’t always get what you want. Maybe they fixed that on the newest skate shoe they just released a few weeks ago. The price is kinda high, I was really skeptical about ordering, but luckily there was a cyber Monday deal last month and I was able to score two pairs of neutral colored shoes for under $100 shipped. I guess that’s just how things are with tariffs.

I had to order a size 10 for splay. Hoping I can save someone time and effort.

I have been wearing barefoot shoes for about ten years. they have all been comfortable. But Splay has the widest toe box that I have found and I really needed that extra width. A good looking classic shoe, and comfortable. I both four pairs and wear them every day.

At the recommendation of the website, since there are no half sizes, I sized down. My toes hit the front of the shoe so this was a bad suggestion. Even worse I bought them during a sale, in which had ended, and there were none in stock of the correct size so I couldnt exchange them or repurchase at the same price. So now I have to wait until they are in stock and on sale again if I want them same deal. I am happy with the way they handled the return, it was very simple and I didnt have to pay to return ship. It was handled quickly. I did however like the shoes and will probably purchase them again when they are available.
