I have been a barefoot shoe advocate for a few years now but have always struggled with shoes that just looked a little odd on the day-to-day or were in excess of £150. I was desperate for shoes that looked stylish but were wide and had the barefoot feel. These shoes are exactly what I wanted and checked every box! Not only that, but the customer service experience I had with Splay was second to none. I would recommend these shoes and the company highly and I'll be buying more pairs.

The best shoes I’ve ever owned. I used to suffer from foot pain, with sharp stings in my toes, and wearing shoes was unbearable.
With these, I haven’t had any pain at all.
I had been looking for barefoot shoes, but always found them ugly—until these. Now I can wear them every day with style.
At parties, I’m that person who won’t stop talking about my shoes and why they’re the best.

Great width, and thickness of sole, looks like a normal pair of vans, as they don't look obviously barefoot. Super comfy and look great on. I have the black Rev HTs for the winter.

The shoe is nice once you get the right size. First I ordered the recommended size (which was my usual size) and the fit was too small. I tried to call customer service through phone call, but the website has a bogus phone number. Thankfully I was able to contact customer service through email (although it took a few days for a response) and they were able to send me a return label and send me a new size. Another reason for four stars is that the confirmation email has no confirmation number or any other information about your order. Otherwise the shoe is comfortable, fits great, and looks good.

First time trying Splay shoes for adults and found that these have quite a bit more cushion than other barefoot shoe brands I've been wearing and am used to. The fit was too small unfortunately and was thus uncomfortable. As there are no complimentary returns or swaps, it did not make sense to pay for the freight back, so we had to give these away. Other than that, pretty great looking shoes!
