I bought these in the hope to have a more stealth looking sneaker that will keep my feet warm through deep winter and give me some cushion while coaching basketball. These have delivered fully and then some. The stack height is enough to cushion the hardwood floor without making me feel like I'm going to fall off my soles. My toes are warm compared to my other sneakers, which are ultra lightweight and breezy mesh. The traction is really grippy as well.
Most of all, they look great, perform well, and make me feel confident in being able to demonstrate choppy, lateral movements without fearing for my knees and ankles.

I love all of Splay's shoes so far. The only negative is that the ceiling is consistently too low for me. I have to remove the insoles otherwise it creates pain at the top middle part of my foot.

The shoes are cute but…
The unisex size chart runs small for women, pay close attention to the size chart.
The return / exchange process has been horrible, I am regretting embarking barking down the path. The support email is run by AI software and I am still waiting on my refund for the original pair purchased.
Cute and affordable shoes but buyer beware. I think I’d rather stick with more expensive brands as they are a better shopping experience.

My sons and I wore the Freestyle v1 for a while and I was excited to try the runner. So, I ordered three pairs for us. There were quality control issues with all three and none lasted more than three weeks of normal wear. I will likely never buy Splay again because of this.
