After discovering barefoot/minimalist footwear 15+ years ago I have a hard time finding comfort in more traditional shoes. The hard part has always been finding something casual that doesn’t look like I’m ready to hit the gym or trail. I’ve been desperately searching for a pair of retro trainers for a while now and after a discouraging day at the mall trying on a bunch of styles I liked the look of but had way too much heel-toe drop and much too narrow toe boxes I stumbled across these randomly during a late night google search and decided to take a gamble even though I had never heard of the brand before. I do not regret it one bit. These fit fantastic and absolutely nail the style I was going for. As a former performer shoe store manager and footwear fitter for outdoor athletes I’m incredibly picky and detail oriented when it comes to my own shoes and these not only feel great to wear but punch way above their price point when it comes to their apparent quality. There are a bunch of small details in their construction that really have me hopeful that I have found my go-to casual shoe for the foreseeable future. Time will tell how they end up holding up, but every time I’ve put them on so far my feet and I have both been happy with my decision.
PS - the sizing definitely gave me pause seeing as how they only come in whole sizes and they recommend sizing down even though I measure out to be a solid and stable 10.5 on weighted feet, but it was definitely the right move to go…

Most toeboxes are to tapered for my feet... The v1 is so roomy but the midfoot is secured.
Price is good... What can i say. This is my first pair, Not my last

Looks really stylish and comfy. Didn't run in them, just casual walking. The pair doesn't feel too squishy. The friend of mine even asked if I started to wear normal shoes once he saw these.

I've tried so many trendy athletic shoes to wear with jeans. All of them hurt my feet except these. I have wide feet and a burgeoning bunion and these feel so good.

These are very comfortable and they are attractive shoes as well. I would like to see better nylon than what is currently being used. The 2nd day I wore them they got a couple of small runs in the nylon. I'm hoping that they will stay together because I love them so much. I might get leather next time because of this issue.
