My husband works 12 hour days and gets almost 20K steps a day. He was having a lot of knee pain and he finally gave in & accepted the idea of trying barefoot shoes. I chose these because they have a bit more cushion & they were leather. Winner, he has worn them almost every day since they came. His calves hurt after the 1st day and he took a day off, he has worn them everyday since. Knee pain is much better & he is very happy! We did have to exchange them for a size bigger, he has always been a size 11 & had to go up to a 12 in these. Thank you Splay

Been hunting decent barefoots shoes for the past few years and recently decided to grab some Splays (I was mildly reluctant due to import taxes) but I picked up some Splay 101s and some Runners and they are exactly what I hoped for.

I’ve been barefoot for a while and these are by far the best shoes I’ve had in this category. Obviously these aren’t exactly athletic shoes but for casual shoes that I can rip on my longboard with they are PERFECT.
As a long time Vans lover (I exclusively buy the wide oldskools) these are a very very solid alternative. I’ll still buy vans, cuz cmon they’re vans. But these are 100% something I would replacing vans with if I had to choose.
The toebox is much wider than even the wide vans I buy.
10/10 recommend.

These are my go to shoes for basically every occassion. I have them in 3 colors, i just love them, they are the closest to looking like a "normal" shoe.
