REV HT (High-Top): High-top barefoot skate shoes built for board feel and everyday wear

REV-HT are high-top sneakers shaped like real feet: roomy up front, flat underfoot, and super flexible for natural movement. The thin, grippy outsole boosts control while the taller collar adds secure ankle coverage for skating and city miles. If you want high-top shoes that keep toes free and posture neutral, these deliver zero-drop comfort with everyday durability. Foot-shaped fit, wide toe box shoes design, and zero drop footwear geometry come standard in this high top barefoot shoes collection.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have any questions about our running shoes? You’re in the right place.

What makes REV-HT different from typical high tops?

They’re built on a foot-shaped last with a wide toe box and a flat, zero-drop base, paired with a flexible, thin outsole for grip and board feel - features aimed at natural movement rather than rigid structure.

Do REV-HT add ankle support?

REV-HT provides higher ankle coverage for a secure feel, but they keep the sole flat and flexible—so you get freedom of motion instead of stiff bracing. For stability, fit, and lacing matter more than added structure.

Are they good for skating and daily use?

Yes. REV HT is especially great for longboarding, surf skating, and other kinds of skating where a little ankle support and great board feel are a priority, and the breathability of cotton canvas is preferred. For aggressive skaters who need ultra-durable upper construction, other REV models fit these needs perfectly. REV HT is great for everyday wear as well, thanks to the wide toe box, zero-drop base, and simple, durable build.

How do they fit?

Splay says shoes generally run true to size. Because of unisex sizing, if you’re between sizes, women often go up; men often go down. Always check the size guide.

What’s the sole like - cushioned or minimal?

It’s intentionally thin and flexible to increase ground feel and board control, keeping the foot level from heel to toe. If you prefer more softness, use the included insole.
