Love the shoes. Great price and comfort. They also are the best looking wide toe box zero drop shoes imo. Fit my "style" much more then any other shoe of this kind that I have tried. Will probably get another pair in a different color. My only little nit pic would be they are quite a challenge to get on and off with standard laces. EZ fix though. I switched to a "boa" lace system, which allows me to more easily and quickly pull the tongue out far enough making it a breeze to slide my feet in and out (pics attached). Boa also obviously makes it easier and quicker to get a nice firm more uniform fit. You don't end up with a tight top and loose bottom and then have to redo the laces. I use the shoes for everything including mountain biking, and motorcycle riding. Would love to see new versions come with integrated boa like systems. Would also love to see Splay come out with a purpose built shoe for Mountain Biking that have a slightly thicker sole for more durability and stickier rubber compound. I am not aware of any true wide toe box mountain bike shoe on the market. I've paid over $200 on a pair mtb shoes and none have been all that comfortable or good for your feet. I prefer to wear the Splays.

Great for walking, I walk heavy on the heel, I wanted a little bit of cushion. Barefoot options were xero shoes and origo. Xero have cushion, but the toe box isn’t as big as the REV. Origo’s fit are great, but I need to be more careful on my heel.
These soles are flat, thicker and flexible.
And toe box is great.
Thats’s why I give 5 stars, based on comfort and size.

I usually wear a women’s size 8 or 8.5 and the 8 was right on my toes. Sized up to a 9 and it’s a perfect fit. The material feels sturdy though I do wish it came with a thicker or more structured tongue, and a heel pull tab. Great sneakers and had enough room to comfortably wear with toe spacers.
