    Best skate shoes

    I have a wide foot and needed something that gave me a good stable platform for skating. These shoes are by far the best shoes. I tried about 5 different shoes before finding splay. They fit well, give great stability and are actually pretty comfortable for a minimalist style shoe. I immediately bought a second pair and will buy more when my size is restocked in the low version.

    Finally a comfortable skate shoe

    I've been struggling for a few years now to find skate shoes I could actually wear for more than a couple hours. I'm not sure if skate shoes have in general gotten narrower, or if the fact I've been wearing Lems for everyday shoes for a while made me realize just how uncomfortable skate shoes are. These shoes with 5mm FP insoles are basically perfect.

    I skated these for a couple weeks until I was convinced I needed a half-size smaller, but Splay made the exchange process super easy, and they even took the shoes after I'd skated them! Fun fact, through the exchange, I found out they're a local Utah brand.

    I won't lie, these look weird when you're standing on your board. They have a noticeably different shape than regular skate shoes and you might need some adjustment to foot positioning for flip tricks, but just like new board, shoes, trucks, etc, one can always adjust.

    Nice comfy wide fitting shoes

    It's really hard to find wide fitting shoes that work for skating, these have awesome board feel and look cool too. They're just like a nice subtle vans kind of style but super comfortable.

    Finally in a normal size shoe.

    Most barefoot/foot shaped brands don't have half sizes. These fit perfect. They could be the slightest bit wider in the toebox, but I don't notice that much. I'm happy with them.

    Great shoes, need more!

    1 year in and going strong! Just ordered new insoles, but the outside is holding up through many miles and tons of work. Hey Splay, make more size 12 greens and/or add some new colors!!!
