I have and I will keep saying about the same about Splay shoes! They are great! This last color is the only one of the skate slip ons I didn’t have. If u haven’t tried Splay shoes let me say why I feel u may want to. I first saw them and noticed the back heel was higher up then many slip ons. And I wanted to skate only slip ons but with a low back heel part they can feel like they’ll fall off and I think have. That’s what made me want to check Splay out. Then I read about them and wrote to the great team at Splay about them and learned that back heel being higher was one of the great feels of these shoes. The huge difference I didn’t even know about the bare foot concept. Our foot isn’t shaped straight and these shoes are designed with the front being super wide so it fits how God made our feet. Your toes can spread as wide open as u can fit me anyway. And not only for skating wich the wide front toe box of these shoes ‘not only the slips’ but all Splay shoes I think have the wide front. U feel your toes free and open wide feeling more of the board. And walking they feel so free. Even a shoe that may be listed as wide I don’t think would feel like these. It’s shaped more like our foot and it’s just the front toe box that’s wide. So they fit great without the sides of your foot being crunched in at all. Even other great skate shoes if they even hit just a bit can push just one toe inwards making your stance feel almost like a teeter todder making your foot on the sides arch…

Wanted to wear slip ons at ***** skating since the 80’s just even bending over long or wrong to tie up a shoe can hurt your back before the sesh. I tried many and many felt good but because few have a high back to hold to about wer the Achilles starts slip ons can skate great but flop off or feel like they may. So I checked the high back of Splays and thought oh ya that’ll help keep them on. I rely had little to know knowledge of the ‘bare foot’ concept. But I researched them and rely at first it was just cas the backs wer higher then most. After researching I started to think hmm. Yes the back high up but this sounds interesting. So I got one pair and I mean they changed not just skate but daily walking. The front of your foot feels so free u can spread your toes pretty much as wide as u want. Even a comfy slip not only can flop off skating but even a tiny thin side on both sides just even pushing the sides of your foot and toes inwards can create like a sideways teeter totter effect making your foot well teeter. Not flat on the board or walking. So after one pair that was it. I just keep coming back. Ther extremely comfortable but the feel especially the front free feeling is just Rad! Your foot feels wide spread on the board instead of what can feel teetering wich that teeter can not only feel off but make your foot feel thin and off Balance.
