I bought the black ones first, and I really enjoyed them. Not super barefoot, but it does allow more toe splay than conventional shoes. I enjoy the extra cushioning for high impact workouts, but if you're a barefoot enthusiast, these are best considered transition shoes.
I also just bought the grey ones, and it looks better than the online photos!
A great looking model from Splay, I deduct half a star because it is a smaller toebox than most "barefoot"shoes. Otherwise a great looking shoe.

After buying a pair of Blue Runner V1's, which might be my favorite anatomically shaped shoes, I decided to get the Team Green color and they fit tighter than my Blue pair. It might be the shoe itself or just the insoles because I compared and the Team Green insole is noticeably thicker than the Blue insole. I've decided to keep the shoes and hopefully they'll break in and loosen up slightly. But if they don't I'll have to buy some aftermarket thin insoles, because I really like how these look and that's the compromise I'm willing to make. If the style wasn't so good, I may give these a 3 star because my Blue pair had a minor defect on the toe, but not worth returning. Style = 5 Stars / Quality Control = 3 Stars
