I have spent a lot of money on shoes. This is absolutely the perfect combo for all the things that I want an issue, comfort, wide to box, a little bit of cushion, but not looking like I’m a total weirdo 😝

It is so subjective, if you are a hardcore barefoot enthusiast this will probably not have the ground feel you want. If you are coming from Hokas then you won't feel like you have enough support. But for me they hit the spot for all around wear, HIIT training and gym shoes. They are light, super comfortable with the toe box and I love the style. My first pair had a defect and customer service was awesome in getting me another pair, props to Splay. I highly recommend

I was very excited for these, the regular freestyle shoe has been my favorite shoe for a number of years now and I had been asking splay to make a runner. I preordered them and have been running in them since they were released, I wanted to put a good number of miles on them before offering a review and not just share my initial excitement.
I had been running in a pair of freestyles for the year prior this was okay but honestly they became a limiting factor in my training, runs longer than 4-5 miles were taxing on pavement. This shoe solves that problem, the additional padding still has the flexibility, wide toe box and general feel of the freestyles that I love.
I cant say much more, probably 70ish miles outdoors and a little more than that on the treadmill the fatigue in my feet has been significantly less and not a factor when I think about going out for a run anymore.
Haven't picked up any injuries over those miles and the shoes have no signs of wear or damage, I think they will hold up.
Overall they do the thing and I like them a lot.
They are not as good as the freestyles for weightlifting in my opinion and I wish they had a mesh top.

Splay killed it with this model!! The style is so on trend and hardly look clowny at all. I'm obsessed, wear them with every outfit. They are so slay. Just please, make half sizes!!! Then they would be absolutely perfect.
