I don't think I've ever owned a more comfortable pair of shoes. They are light, flexible, and sit low enough to the ground that I don't have any concern of tripping. Plenty of room in the toe box by design! The forefoot was slightly tight upon arrival, but they break in; Removing the insole also helps but would reduce durability. I wore a 9.5 in normal shoes and sized up one based on recommendations from Sons of Sever, they were 100% right. Will be returning.

I've been wearing these 4-5 days a week for over 3 months. Not high intensity exercise but I walk and hike in them frequently. They are super comfortable and have held up very well. Besides a little dirt, they look and feel like new. I love the wide toe box without them looking weird. I bought my usual size 8 for sneakers and they fit perfectly.

After discovering barefoot/minimalist footwear 15+ years ago I have a hard time finding comfort in more traditional shoes. The hard part has always been finding something casual that doesn’t look like I’m ready to hit the gym or trail. I’ve been desperately searching for a pair of retro trainers for a while now and after a discouraging day at the mall trying on a bunch of styles I liked the look of but had way too much heel-toe drop and much too narrow toe boxes I stumbled across these randomly during a late night google search and decided to take a gamble even though I had never heard of the brand before. I do not regret it one bit. These fit fantastic and absolutely nail the style I was going for. As a former performer shoe store manager and footwear fitter for outdoor athletes I’m incredibly picky and detail oriented when it comes to my own shoes and these not only feel great to wear but punch way above their price point when it comes to their apparent quality. There are a bunch of small details in their construction that really have me hopeful that I have found my go-to casual shoe for the foreseeable future. Time will tell how they end up holding up, but every time I’ve put them on so far my feet and I have both been happy with my decision.
PS - the sizing definitely gave me pause seeing as how they only come in whole sizes and they recommend sizing down even though I measure out to be a solid and stable 10.5 on weighted feet, but it was definitely the right move to go…
